Jennifer Aniston will always be there to celebrate with her friends!
He pays tribute to his friend Friends alum, Courteney Cox, Aniston took to Instagram to celebrate her 59th birthday on Thursday.
“I want to take a moment and wish my dearest CC the happiest of birthdays,” 54-year-old Aniston captioned a compilation of old pictures and videos. “If you’re lucky enough to know him, you know how incredible he is.”
Aniston added, “The biggest heart and most generous of people. I love you Cox-N-Hammer! Happy birthday ❤️🥳🎈”
The merry-go-round has featured the duo’s moments over the years; including an old shot of their friends kissing, and snippets of them laughing while filming their hit sitcom. Friends.
This isn’t the first time Aniston has shown her love for her longtime friend and co-star.
In February, This morning schedule The actress honored Cox in a joint speech with Lisa Kudrow as she received her star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
“We are very honored to be here today to speak for you as your colleagues, your friends and family, your sisters,” Aniston said. “And that’s been since we’ve known you for so long.”
“Being friends with Courteney means being family with Courteney. She is responsible for all of this. From the moment we met her, she was immediately inclusive, warm, loving and interested in everything about you.”
“As fans, we want to thank you for making us laugh,” Aniston concluded. “Watching you on screen and in life in general, you are one of the funniest people on planet Earth. Nothing makes me happier than a Courteney joke and it always makes us smile and thank you for enriching our lives with your work. We are so proud of you, we love you, you are another gentleman brother and we love you.”
Cox also thanked Aniston and Kudrow in her speech for supporting her over the years.
“I love you all so much, and it’s so nice of you to come out in public for me as you often do in private,” she shared.
Friends It aired for 10 seasons on NBC from 1994 to 2004. Aniston (Rachel Green), Cox (Monica Geller), Kudrow (Phoebe Buffay), Matt LeBlanc (Joey Tribbiani), Matthew Perry (Chandler Bing) and David Schwimmer (Ross Geller) all reunited for the HBO Max special, Friends: Datingin 2021.
During the special, which premiered in May of that year, the stars revealed a series of behind-the-scenes news from their time on the show. They also remembered being a part of the hit series.
