Jamie Foxx remains in the hospital for nearly a week after “suffering a medical complication” that forced him to stop filming his upcoming movie “Back in Action.”
Speaking to People Monday, a source confirmed that the actor is still undergoing tests at a medical facility in Atlanta.
Three days ago, another insider told CNN that the 55-year-old “Django Unchained” star is under observation by medical professionals “still trying to figure out exactly what happened.”
“They’re running tests,” the source said.
Page Six reached out to Foxx’s representative for comment.
The Oscar-winning actress’ daughter, Corinne, revealed her health scare in a lengthy Instagram post Wednesday.
“We wanted to share that my father, Jamie Foxx, had a medical complication yesterday,” the 29-year-old wrote in a message from the “Foxx family”.
The statement continued: “Fortunately, due to rapid response and great care, it is already on track to recover.”
Foxx was on the set of her upcoming movie “Back in Action” with Cameron Diaz the day before her medical problem.

Production was reportedly “stopped” Wednesday due to Foxx’s plight, while his stunt double was photographed on set when production resumed in his absence the next day.
Foxx’s family has yet to provide an update on his condition or detail what happened, but a source told People over the weekend that he is “constantly improving.”
Meanwhile, several celebrity friends, including LeBron James and Viola Davis, sent their well wishes on social media.
Kerry Washington also honored the “film husky” with a sweet message.
She captioned a photo with co-star “Ray” on her Instagram on Thursday, writing “A @iamjamiefoxx tribute”. “I am sending you all my love and prayers.”
Foxx’s health problems come weeks after he supposedly returned to the set of “Back” after a meltdown.
The incident, which led to the firing of the film’s executive producer, two directors, and driver, is said to have prompted 50-year-old Diaz to quit acting again.
