Jamie Foxx reportedly entered one of the best physical rehabilitation centers in the country after being discharged from the hospital.
According to TMZ, the actor has been receiving medical care in Chicago since April – just weeks after suffering an unknown medical emergency.
In fact, his daughters, Corinne Foxx and Anelise Foxx, had flown in to be with him and looked so happy while visiting their father for the weekend.
While it’s still unclear what happened to Jamie, the facility reportedly specializes in stroke recovery, traumatic brain injury rehabilitation, spinal cord injury rehabilitation, and cancer rehabilitation.
An insider said the Oscar-winning actor was “recovering”, and Corinne did the same last week when she did an update on her father’s health.
Corinne, 29, wrote on her Instagram Story about her 55-year-old father, “Update from the family: It’s sad to see the media going so crazy.” “My father has been out of the hospital for weeks to recover.”
The actor even claimed that Jamie “played pickles” and remained active during his rehabilitation efforts.
The disclosure comes after Radar Online claimed Jamie’s family was “preparing for the worst” while the “Ray” actor is recovering. Journalist Touré also claimed he was “on Life Support” in an Instagram post that has since been deleted. [the] intensive care.
Jamie was hospitalized on April 12 for what Corinne only described as a “medical complication”.
“Fortunately, due to quick action and great care, he is already on his way to recovery,” he said at the time.
“We know how much he is loved and we appreciate your prayers. The family wants privacy during this time.”
A few weeks later, Jamie finally broke his silence on Instagram, saying he “feels blessed” after his mysterious health scare.
The actor was shooting the movie “Back in Action” when there was a medical emergency. Although filming was interrupted for several days, filming resumed a few days later, using body stunts in his absence.
However, it seems that the movie star is planning her next big project after she fully recovers.
Jamie and Corinne announced on Monday their plans to host a new game show called “We Are Family.”
In the new series, non-celebrity relatives of celebrities will duet with members of their famous families whose identity is hidden. It is scheduled to be released within the next year.
Jamie’s representatives did not immediately respond to Page Six’s request for comment.
