Jamie Foxx is on his way to recovery.
Speaking to “Entertainment Tonight” on Tuesday, a source said the Oscar-winning actor “recovered” a week after suffering a “medical complication”.
“He feels the love of everyone,” an insider added, as well as confirming reports that Foxx remains hospitalized in Georgia.
The update comes after People reported last Friday that the 55-year-old actor is “continuously recovering” from his mysterious emergency.
Meanwhile, CNN reported on Monday that doctors were “running tests and are still trying to figure out exactly what happened.”
Foxx’s family members have not given an update on her health scare since her daughter Corinne Foxx’s first Instagram post on April 12.
“My father, Jamie Foxx, had a medical complication yesterday,” wrote his eldest child and “Beat Shazam” co-host.
“Fortunately, she’s already on her way to recovery thanks to quick action and great care,” said Corinne, 29. “We know how much he is loved and we appreciate your prayers.”

Just a day before Jamie was hospitalized, he was photographed on set filming his upcoming movie “Back in Action” with Cameron Diaz.
Although production was briefly halted due to a “complication”, Diaz, 50, returned to the set in the absence of his co-star and did double work with his body on Monday.
While Diaz has yet to comment on Jamie’s ordeal, many first-class people, from Nick Cannon to Kerry Washington, have sent their best wishes via social media.
The duo’s “Back in Action” movie was embroiled in scandal after Foxx alleged that he had a “meltdown” last month that prompted Diaz to consider quitting acting again.
Foxx fired four crew members during rumors of the explosion the same week that the “Django Unchained” star was reportedly the victim of a $40,000 scam.
