Jamie Foxx is recovering, but doctors are still closely watching the actor following his mysterious medical emergency.
A source told People Friday that Foxx, 55, is “well” but “still in the hospital.”
“Doctors are running tests, but he’s awake and alert,” an insider added. “They’re keeping him under observation.”
Foxx representatives did not immediately respond to Page Six’s request for comment.
Corinne Foxx, daughter of the “Django Unchained” star, was the first to reveal that her father was sick.
“We wanted to share that my father, Jamie Foxx, had a medical complication yesterday,” the 29-year-old family posted on social media on April 12.

Sources later revealed that Jamie was hospitalized in Georgia during the filming of “Back in Action.” It was reported that the medical emergency did not occur on the set.
