Pixar enters its teenage years with a sequel Inside out.
The first trailer was released on Thursday Inside Out 2 She broke out by promoting the sequel to the 2015 film, which stars Amy Poehler, Bill Hader, Mindy Kaling and an ensemble voice acting as various emotions in the mind of a young girl.
Inside Out 2 It sees Poehler, 52, return as Joy, as well as Phyllis Smith (Sadness) and Lewis Black (Anger) reprising their roles from the first film. Tony Hale stars as Fear for Hader, while Liza Lapira (Crazy Stupid Love) this time voicing Disgust instead of Kaling.
The sequel, which will be released nearly nine years after the original film’s debut, finds Joy (Poehler) and other emotions contemplating the red alert going off in Riley’s mind.

As the alarm spirals out of control, Ozzy Osbourne’s 1980 song “Crazy Train” plays, and a wrecking crew of blue, purple, and green colored emotions arrive for what they describe as “demo day” and begin destroying Riley’s mind.
After the destruction, the Emotions notice that their console has unexpectedly turned orange, and as Riley grows up, a new emotion comes to mind, Anxiety (voiced by Maya Hawke).

The synopsis of the movie says: Inside Out 2 He revisits Riley “just as the headquarters undergoes sudden demolition to make way for something completely unexpected: new Emotions!”
“Joy, who has been a successful operation for a long time, is unsure how to feel when Sadness, Anger, Fear and Disgust, Anxiety arise,” the summary reads. “And it looks like he’s not alone.”

Inside Out 2 It is directed by Kelsey Mann, who is making her feature directorial debut with Pixar after working as a writer, short film director and creative consultant on studio films since 2013.
Mann said in a statement that the sequel’s new character, Anxiety, “may be new to the team, but she’s not really the type to stay in the background.”
“If you think about it in terms of what’s going on in all of our minds, it makes perfect sense,” Mann said.
