Jennifer Coolidge is starting to get candid about her decision not to have children.
in a cover interview with British GQ Coolidge opened up about why she thought she never became a mom for the summer issues.
“I’m very, very immature,” he said. “I guess that kept me from having kids, because I’m kind of a kid.”
“Maybe if I had kids, I’d have to grow up,” she added, joking that she’d be a better stepmother than anything.
Having already had an eventful year with a Golden Globe, Critics’ Choice Award, Hasty Pudding Theatricals Woman of the Year award and a Super Bowl commercial for elf Cosmetics, the star said she thinks she’ll “appreciate” her latest success. “More if I have kids or something.”
However, she told her outlet that she was ultimately not in the cards for her, partly because of her pleasure in dating intense guys.
“I’ve never had a cheerful, relaxed boyfriend, you know?” said. “Like someone who laughs at all your shortcomings. This is never the person I chose for myself.
Speaking to PEOPLE in February about her hurricane and her new status as “It Girl”, the actress said she has an idea why she’s connecting with so many fans.
“I think people like that I’m skinny,” the actress said. “I played a lot of weird women and my comedies entertained people. Then Mike White put me in the game. White Lotus and it was also a drama and a comedy – I’ve never really had that.
Coolidge has previously acted as a supporting actress in the following films: legal blonde, Cinderella story and took part in shows such as Sex and the City, 2 Penniless Girls And FriendsTanya McQuoidon before taking on her popular role as the wealthy damsel in distress White Lotus.
The show, which increased her fame and helped her reach a new fan base, also captured her newfound attention during awards season and even in the ordinary moments of her daily life.

“I don’t know if they played that many clips of me online or on Instagram, but no matter what disguise I am wearing, I could be wearing a helmeted frog costume and people know it’s me,” he said.
“Recently I was walking in Boston’s North End and couldn’t go down the street. I think it’s very interesting. I think the internet. I don’t know – or maybe I’m just weird. walking.”
