Joe Jonas revealed that he cried with jealousy when he learned that his younger brother, Nick Jonas, would be a judge on “The Voice.”
On Monday’s episode of the “The Armchair Expert with Dax Shepard” podcast, the “Camp Rock” star revealed she learned the news while watching Fleetwood Mac’s “Landslide” play at Madison Square Garden in March 2019.
“It was in the most beautiful setting,” 33-year-old Joe recalled. “I was so jealous that I cried for ‘Landslide’.”
“SOS” singer, who joined the podcast with her two brothers, Nick (30) and Kevin (35), said, “Of course it was sad because I’m so happy for him, but I’m also angry.” because I want that damn job!
Joe had coached the Australian show “Voice” for one season in 2018, and his brother Kevin said he was more qualified than Nick to do the job.
Joe said, “I enjoyed the work, so ‘what’s going on?’ I said,” cried Joe. “However [Nick] crushed it and, you know, it was great.

Nick continued to work as a voice coach in Seasons 18 and 20 of the singing competition franchise before being replaced by Ariana Grande.
Sibling rivalry or not, the trio emphasized during the podcast that they’re all still on the same team and their main goal is to “win someone with the Jonas surname.”
In fact, Nick revealed that he and Joe auditioned for the same role in the movie “Wicked,” which will hit theaters in 2024.
The “Love Again” actor shared that the duo are “competitive in sports and other things”, while cheering each other up before auditions when it comes to their careers.
Joe, echoing Nick’s feelings, added, “Yeah, we said, ‘Go over there and kill him because it has to be one of us. It has to be one of us.’ That being said, I never got that call…”
