Disney hopes to cast a spell again with another hocus pocus installment.
The studio is officially developing hocus pocus 3Walt Disney Studios head of Motion Picture Production Sean Bailey confirmed it while discussing upcoming live-action projects in a profile posted by New York Times Sunday.
Fans will definitely be excited by the next news. hocus pocus 2 broke broadcast records It debuted on Disney+ last September. The sequel comes nearly 30 years after the original movie, which was released in 1993.
No other information was given about the potential third film, including its release date or cast. But stars Bette Midler, Kathy Najimy and Sarah Jessica Parker have said they would be open to making another movie.

Meanwhile, three stars from the original film that were not included in the 2022 sequel could appear in the third installment.
Omri Katz (Max), Thora Birch (Dani) and Vinessa Shaw (Allison) helped bring down the Sanderson Sisters in the first movie. And they all expressed their desire to reprise their roles.
“We tried so hard to bring the original cast back for the cameo, and then for one reason or another, it just didn’t work.” hocus pocus 2 screenwriter Jen D’Angelo told Variation. “But I hope hocus pocus 3, We will see Max and Alison living in California.”
Probably Dani too – because she was supposed to play a teacher in the second movie.
