Gwyneth Paltrow made sure to call out to her mom on Mother’s Day.
On Sunday, 50-year-old Paltrow took to her Instagram Story to pay tribute to her mother, Blythe Danner, as she celebrated her daughter Apple Martin’s 19th birthday with a series of posts on the social media platform.
After sharing a photo of herself and Apple on her story and writing, “Happy birthday @applemartin you are my life,” Paltrow added a photo of Apple, her 17-year-old son Moses and 80-year-old mother Blythe posing together at a restaurant.
“And Happy Mother’s Day to all mothers, especially #blythedanner,” she added to the caption.
Emmy-winning actress Blythe, with the late director and producer Bruce Paltrow and Gwyneth, had previously received another social media praise from Gwyneth when she turned 80 on February 3.
“Happy 80th day to you, wonderful mom,” Paltrow wrote in a caption accompanying a selfie of the mother-daughter duo on Instagram at the time. “It’s a pleasure to watch you, you’re so beautiful and strong. We all love you so much 💕”

Danner announced for the first time in November that she was in remission after a years-long battle with mouth cancer, the same disease that killed her beloved husband, Bruce, in 2002.

“He passed with such grace,” Paltrow told his mother at the time. “I was surprised at how strong he could be,” added Danner, citing his own experience: “I wasn’t shivering in my boots. I have no fear of death.”
