Goldie Hawn celebrated her son Oliver Hudson’s 47th birthday on Thursday, sharing a photo of the two stars looking out onto the horizon.
“When your birthday child puts his or her arm around you, everything is right in the world,” the 77-year-old Oscar-winning actor wrote in his Instagram post. “Happy birthday my beautiful son @theoliverhudson I love you ❤️.”
Hawn’s photo showed the two sitting on a boat with Hudson’s arm around her shoulder. Rules of engagement Star confirmed her mother’s post by sharing it on her Instagram Story.
Hudson’s younger sister, Kate Hudson, has not shared a post about her birthday yet, but she did post a post in memory of him on her birthday last year.

Hudson even paid tribute to him last year by referring to himself in the third person and showing off his sense of humor.

“You gave and taught me lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life,” he continued. “You are handsome, sexy, talented. You are the funniest person I know. And I’m so lucky and happy to have you in my life.
Hawn welcomed Hudson and Kate with her second ex-husband, Bill Hudson. to the sea star and her longtime partner Kurt Russell are also parents to Wyatt Russell. Hudson has three children with his wife, Erinn Bartlett; sons Wilder (16), Bodhi (13) and daughter Rio (10).
Hudson’s family lived with Hawn and Russell, 72, while their home was being renovated last year. He said they moved back to their home turf in February 2022, just before the Super Bowl. PEOPLE Every Day podcast.
When asked what she would miss most about no longer living with her mother, Hudson thought of breakfast.
“I guess I [will] “I’m missing breakfast,” he said. “My mom is a great cook. When you’re dealing with the kids in the morning, it’s like you’re lucky if you get a piece of toast because you’re late, you’re a– late and you need to go out. My mom has a total illness. It’s kind of a little bed. And it’s like being in the breakfast room.”
