Disgraced 83-year-old lawyer Girardi, disbarred, placed in a legal conservatory, diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease and living in a memory care facility, is accused of embezzling millions of dollars owed to aggrieved clients, including widows, orphans and burn victims.
Meanwhile, Jayne, who claimed to have no knowledge of Girardi’s alleged crimes, triumphed in a $5 million lawsuit against him for allegedly “aiding and abetting” his wife, and the judge found no evidence that he “did wrong” about her. episode, Page Six, reported in August 2022.
