Strange!
Diane Keaton called herself “disgusting” and “stupid” on Friday’s episode of “The View.”
While promoting “Book Club: The Next Chapter” with Mary Steenburgen, Candice Bergen and Jane Fonda, an Instagram video of Miley Cyrus dancing to the song “Flowers” came to the fore.
Keaton immediately expressed his unwillingness to speak, saying, “Not me.”
However, when the clip of her dance plays, the background “This is me! Disgusting!”
He continued, “This is so stupid I can’t stand it. Look at that, this is a crazy person.”
The 77-year-old “Father of the Bride” actress lifted her champagne flute, took a sip, and said, “I will drink until ten.”
Keaton didn’t think it was that crazy when he first posted the video, and wrote at the time: “YOUR AMAZING SONG GIVES MILEY A REASON TO DANCING IN MY OWN BACKGARDEN!”
During her appearance, the actress also looked baffled by the live audience.
When co-host Alyssa Farah Griffin started asking her about “having fun at any age”, Keaton interrupted her and said, “I’ve never had fun at any age.”

He then looked around the room and described it as “scary”.
“So there are a lot of people I’m looking at right now,” Keaton continued. “Looking at them. They’re amazing. They’re your people. Look, my god. Why am I here?”
The Oscar-winning actress clearly didn’t want to be there.
Keaton has embraced his eccentric personality since starring in 1977’s “Annie Hall,” and is one of the few movie stars to have ever married.
Earlier this year, Warren Beatty shared that although he has high-profile crushes with Al Pacino and Woody Allen, it’s “unlikely” that he’s in another relationship and hasn’t been dating for years.
“I’m not dating,” Keaton said in an interview with AARP Magazine. “I don’t remember anyone calling me and saying, ‘This is blah blah blah, I want to take you out. They won’t. Of course not.”
Keaton became a single mother in her 50s when she adopted her 27-year-old daughter, Dexter, and her 22-year-old son, Duke.
Now that there is an empty nest, Keaton has found friendship with his four-legged friend, his dog Reggie.
“Dogs are irresistible,” he explained. “They’re just idiots. Reggie is a total jerk and very funny.”
