This blonde knows what works for her.
Christie Brinkley, 69, looks just as sunny as she did when she modeled, and the star recently spoke to People about her iconic hair and her decision to continue dyeing her hair despite her briefly dangling gray roots.
Acting as Pet Life Unlimited’s ambassador, Brinkley chatted with the mag while attending a senior dog adoption event last week and discussed how she dyed her hair blonde again after playing with the natural look in March.
“If you don’t grey, some people really care about that,” he said.
The supermodel drew attention to the double standards that exist when it comes to hair coloring, noting that people were like, “‘Oh, this is so disappointing. He doesn’t own it. He’s trying to do something other than who he is.’”
Brinkley was firm in his stance and said, “Like no. I sincerely believe that if there is something bothering you, you will take care of it.”
Finally, the star said, “I think the important thing is to do what’s best for you. People will put pressure on you in every way.”
While the Bellissima Wine entrepreneur shared some photos of her gray roots on Instagram earlier this year, she also said she was undecided about her looks.
“As soon as you see the white hair, the question comes to your mind, like when you cut your bangs..should you hide it or not?” He wrote at the time, adding: “Thank God, either is just a personal preference or a fun change of pace.”
Brinkley said the “decision is still unclear” on whether to repaint it, but obviously, she’s decided that blonde is best for her.

The model, along with her celebrity hairdos, told People she’s optimistic about turning 70 next February.
“I feel the number just doesn’t fit my spirit, so I can keep getting encouraged,” he said.
