These fans do not show model behavior.
Christie Brinkley, 69, gave her haters a round of applause on Instagram yesterday after the comment section was flooded with negative comments about her looks and her fanbases came to the supermodel’s defense.
Her original post was titled “Downtown Girl”, which featured a sullen-faced selfie and shots of the New York City skyline, but she later updated the post to point out some malicious comments on the photo.
“Update: Whoa Nelly! The Wrinkle Brigade is in full force in the comment thread!” The supermodel added to her caption, referring to negative phrases like “These chest wrinkles are disgusting.”
“You forgot to clean the chest. your real age!” “I think we’re going to leave chest hair aside and focus on fillers,” a third commenter added, while another commenter wrote.
Brinkley wrote that some people “scan the pages of celebrities, hoping to find some cellulite, wrinkles, or anything else they can point to.” [sic] criticism” continues that the behavior is likely “a form of compensation for some of the things they lack.”
Luckily, the founder of Bellissima Wine received a lot of “kind and valuable” comments in response to the brutal messages, as did one fan say, “You look beautiful! Thank you for using no filters. I wish more celebrities would do this and we could renormalize aging.”

Brinkley also touched on the “chest hair” comments, adding that “Note: I obviously don’t have chest hair (I thought!)”, adding that iPhones have a “tendency to create weird things” in terms of shadows. if I did?”
This isn’t the first time the modeling icon has spoken about aging, as Brinkley shared with People last month that she plans to keep her blonde hair despite feeling “pressure” to embrace gray at age 69.
“Some people really magnify it if you don’t grey,” he said, adding, “I think the important thing is to do what’s best for you.”
