Chevy Chase is bringing holiday cheer this year.
Chase as Clark Griswold in the 1989 holiday classic National Lampoon’s Christmas HolidayPEOPLE will headline the Christmas Con in New Jersey with their first Christmas convention appearance, as they may reveal privately.
Taking place in Edison, New Jersey from December 8 to December 10, Christmas Con is a winter wonderland for Christmas fanatics, with a holiday market filled with local artists and vendors, photo shoots, and other events.
The convention is best known for its panel of Christmas celebrities, which now includes the 79-year-old. Saturday night live handle.
Last year’s convention saw several Hallmark, Lifetime and GAF holiday stars, including Andrew Walker, Nikki DeLoach, Paul Campbell, Danica McKellar, Chad Michael Murray and Autumn Reeser. They participated in the lead roles and Bad Girls starring Lacey Chabert and Jonathan Bennett.

Tyler Hynes told PEOPLE at Christmas Con Pasadena in August that his dream Christmas movie lead actor would be Chase.
“I mean, if we were talking about holiday stars, I would only think of Chevy Chase. Satire movies. christmas holiday “One of the legendary movies I grew up in,” said Hynes, 37. “It would be a perfect moment to make these movies now and be in it.”
Directed by Jeremiah S. Chechik and written by John Hughes, christmas holiday Beverly D’Angelo, Juliette Lewis, Johnny Galecki, Diane Ladd and John Randolph also starred.

The announcement of Chase’s participation comes just after the second summer event of Hallmark: Kansas City’s birthplace, Christmas Con, on June 9-11.
Too cheerful to wait for December, attendees jumped into the celebration with featured guests like Brennan Elliott, Melissa Joan Hart, Jen Lilley, Taylor Cole and Cameron Mathison.
