Cardi B has had her fair share of public meat over the years, mostly with gossip bloggers and Nicki Minaj. But here’s a new one for the Bronx rapper: His latest target is a relative of a missing diver traveler who is also a huge Blink-182 fan.
On Tuesday, Cardi took to Instagram to share her thoughts on the saga regarding a five-man underwater ship that disappeared Sunday while visiting the Titanic wreck site. Specifically, Cardi thanked Brian Szasz, stepson of missing billionaire Hamish Harding, Posting on Facebook page He said he attended a Blink-182 concert in San Diego during the ongoing search.
“One of the billionaires – his stepson at the Blink-182 concert,” said in a video he shared on his Instagram Story Tuesday night. “And people [are] ‘What, is he supposed to be sad at home? Does he have to call her himself?’ Yes.”
Szasz was in the news this week with many deleted Facebook posts about his missing stepfather. disturbing Allegations that Szasz was stalking and threatening members of the rave community of which he was a part also resurfaced. But he caught the internet’s attention on Tuesday by posting a photo of himself taken outside a Blink-182 concert. In the caption of the photo, he refers to his strange perspective: “It may be unpleasant to be here, but my family wanted me to be on Blink-182 shows because it’s my favorite band and the music helps through tough times.”
While some social media users defended Szasz’s untimely exit, others now strangely admire the ridiculousness of the whole story, including Travis Barker. Cardi, on the other hand, seems to have taken Szasz’s post personally.
“You[’re] she was supposed to be sad at home,” she continued with her Instagram video. “You[’re] She must have been crying for me. You had to be near the phone to hear any updates about me. You were supposed to comfort your mother or something. Isn’t it sad that you’re a big billionaire and no one cares about you? … I’d rather be broke and poor, knowing that I’m loved.”
Meanwhile, Cardi B’s longtime rival Nicki Minaj had some practical words about the missing submarine on Tuesday’s Apple Music radio show Queen Radio. “Nobody should jump [their] the ass of a submarine talking about them[‘re] He is landing on the Titanic,” he bluntly added, adding that he “keeps the passengers in their prayers and wishes the best for the search and rescue teams.”
Blink-182 has not yet commented on the subject.
