Beyoncé seeks to create a fashion “Renaissance”.
The “Cuff It” singer announced in a new Instagram post today that she’s turning to designer apparel, announcing that she’s designing a special collection for Balmain with her upcoming stadium tour.
Dubbed “Renaissance Couture,” the tracks were inspired by tracks from the 2022 album of the same name—each coordinated with a separate song—and Beyoncé described the experience of creating them as “liberating.”
The “Break My Soul” singer wears a long-sleeved black dress covered with silver buttons and a matching hoodie with a giant hat on top of one of the creations on the April cover of Vogue France.
She’s also wearing the dress in her Instagram post today and posing without a hat as Balmain’s creative director Olivier Rousteing kisses her on the cheek.
Alongside the sweet photo, she also shared a video of some of the looks, including a glass chandelier, a pointed silver breastplate, and a pink velvet dress she wore over her trouser shoes – along with a gorgeous gold cap. Grammys of the month.
Another extravagant cut includes a silver mini dress made of tinsel, paired with a matching cape.
“Thank you @olivier_rousteing and @balmain for bringing the RENAISSANCE to life in couture,” the 41-year-old “Run the World” singer wrote in the post.
“Thank you for allowing me to celebrate the human form, take artistic risks, push boundaries and express myself freely.”

As for Balmain’s harmonies, we look forward to this summer’s tour to see if he will shine on stage.
