Blame Mr.
After Chlöe Bailey’s debut album “In Pieces” sold only 10,000 album units, fans blamed her mentor Beyoncé for not promoting her project online using social media.
“Beyoncé literally hates her lol, she didn’t do anything for the album, couldn’t even give her a feature and didn’t even open up to her during the tour 😭😭 Chloe needs to leave that company.” a critic tweeted.
“No, beyonce could at least release the Chloe Bailey album in her story so this isn’t your artist???? 😂😂😂😂😂😂” added another.
“Because Beyoncé didn’t promote Chloe’s album, it’s disgusting 😭 a simple IG post would probably have made Chloe hit the top 50.” another fan wrote.
“Not funny but I really want to know what was the purpose of Beyoncé signing Chloe. Was it to look so someone could be under her? I don’t understand, because how do you let your artist release an album and not even support it once and it’s sold 10,000 now 😭” a fourth person tweeted.
Bailey’s album, released on March 31, debuted at number 119 on the Billboard 200. The 24-year-old “Have Mercy” singer apparently reacted to the criticism after several fans labeled the project a “flop” on Twitter.

“It was about falling apart, letting go and trusting myself” tweeted on monday. “I enjoyed every moment of it and love everyone who listens to it.”
Chlöe and her younger sister, Halle Bailey, signed with Parkwood Entertainment, which was founded by Beyoncé in 2008.
Although the 41-year-old “Drunk In Love” singer became a mum about “In Pieces” in front of everyone, behind the scenes she was very supportive of Chlöe’s project.
“[Beyoncé] listened to the album,” the Chloe X Halle singer told ET earlier this month. “He gave me notes before he left.”
“I love him so much,” she continued. “My dear, my dear, and I am so grateful to him for everything.”
