More than a year after Bethenny Frankel posted her first beauty video, it seems everyone and their moms have watched her viral TikTok quiz.
So, as Mother’s Day approaches, the podcast host, mom, and professional gift giver (“I’m so famous at FedEx” teasing) keep it realistic whether they recommend giving gifts.
“give [moms] something they would buy themselves,” Page tells Six Style.
To that end, it doesn’t recommend sheet masks (“Cheap, ubiquitous, and extravagant”) or fancy scents (“They’re copied endlessly”).
As for the “luxury” items he truly believes are of great value?
Frankel describes Nest Turkish Rose Fragrance Oil (starting at $35) as “reasonably priced,” but warns that it’s “strong, so make sure your mom has it too.”

She also loves the Tom Ford 5-Piece Lip Color Discovery Set ($80) as a gift and tells us about the expensive choice, “It’s a brand that just makes you feel different, so do this for the most important person in your life someday.”
Or, pick up the Dior Limited Edition Rogue Lipstick Set ($190) for a gift “hack”, which comes with a chain strap clutch that “would be in the thousands if it was marketed that way,” according to Frankel.
Beyond lipsticks, the “ReWives” host envisions the celeb-loved Pat McGrath Labs Mothership IX Eyeshadow Palette: Huetopian Dream ($128) and calls it “truly outstanding.”
“I believe in spending once and well [buying] a lot of cheap items that get you nowhere,” he explains.

Frankel’s delight in luxury (and prepackaged) extends to wine; Among her gifts is Forever Young Rosé, which comes in a “stunning collectible bottle” covered with flowers.
“It’s on another level,” he says of the wine made in a vineyard owned by a mother of three in Provence.
But while his business empire, spanning everything from the Bethenny brand to two podcasts, is expanding all the time, that doesn’t mean Frankel is slowing down TikTok testing.

In fact, the star’s own Mother’s Day wish list includes “a perfectly working social media lighting system” and “a good eye-catching closet organizer.”
“My lighting sucks and I don’t have the patience to be more professional about it,” Frankel says.
However, she will take the time to pass on her best beauty tips to her 13-year-old daughter, Bryn.

“Don’t believe the hype. Little but self. Wash your face every night. Wash your brushes every week. Take care of your skin,” she says, listing a few favorites before adding, “Everyone wants to be young instead of contoured and old.”
While Frankel adds that his teen “wouldn’t believe me anyway,” it’s safe to say that many TikTok users would be more than happy to listen to his advice.
