Love was in the air.
Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez’s romance was fully showcased at the premiere of her new movie “Air” on Monday night.
As the duo walked down the red carpet, the couple paused for a moment to kiss for the cameras before continuing along the row.
Lopez looked radiant in a hip-hugging white and neon green dress with beading on the translucent top, while Affleck looked handsome in a navy velvet suit.
The “Waiting for Tonight” singer and “Argo” star looked happier than ever at the event – very different from Affleck’s miserable appearance at the 2023 Grammy Awards.
Although Lopez, 53, tried to downplay his rude attitude that went viral after the awards ceremony, Affleck eventually admitted that his facial expression was the result of host Trevor Noah catching him a bit off guard.
“I saw [Noah approach] Affleck, 50, said to The Hollywood Reporter, ‘Oh my god.
“They were plotting against us in this shot, but I didn’t know they were rolling.”
Just before Noah’s skit began, the event’s cameras recorded a seemingly serious conversation with Affleck’s wife, whom he secretly married in July 2022 in Las Vegas.
The “Lost Girl” star said she was joking with the “Shotgun wedding” actress and told her, “As soon as it starts to roll, I’ll walk away from you and leave you with Trevor.”
Affleck’s idea didn’t quite fit the artist, who told him, “You better not go.”
“It’s a husband and wife thing. I mean, some people were like, ‘Well, who is this show?’ I’m like,” he said.
Although Affleck considered the award “his wife’s work event”, he insisted on the broadcast that he “had a good time” that night.
Meanwhile, at Affleck’s “work event” it was nothing but a smile.
