In a resurfaced interview, Aubrey Plaza claimed that a film director forced her to masturbate in front of the camera in a room full of men.
Plaza debuted in 2013 in “Conan” to promote Maggie Carey’s sultry romantic comedy “To Do List,” which follows the actress’s high school-age character as she sets out to – shall we say – pop various cherries before she sets off. to go to college
When host Conan O’Brien asked his guest about the scene he liked, Plaza claimed that Bill Hader’s ex-wife, Carey, who also appeared in the movie, had instructed him to actually perform the task.
“I read on the page and it read, ‘Brandy is masturbating’,” said the “White Lotus” star, now 38 years old. “And I imagined a beautiful scene in my head where you see my hand slowly coming out of the frame.
“I thought I was going to get into that too, but when I arrived, the camera was mounted on the ceiling,” he continued.
“I was in my underwear and [Bill] There was a bunch of old men in Clinton T-shirts and smoking – you know, the guys on the team.
Visibly annoyed, Plaza admitted that she was joking about the smoking part.
“I asked the director, ‘What should I do?’ I asked,” he recalled. “And he said, ‘Masturbate – like it’s written in the script.
“Then I went and touched myself,” the “Parks and Recreation” graduate added, reiterating that she was caught off guard with a “full body shot” that didn’t show any of her private areas.

Plaza told the Oregonian that same year that “the masturbation scene … was the most frustrating scene.”
“I thought in my head, ‘Oh, we’ll probably shoot this in a way that I don’t really have to do it,'” she shared.
“But then when we did that… I said, ‘Oh, no, we’re going to shoot it where I did it’.”
Carey representatives did not immediately respond to Page Six’s request for comment.
