This star has all her skincare secrets.
Ashley Graham passed some of her beauty secrets to Byrdie in a recent interview, revealing that the model uses a traditional Chinese practice she swears is as good as fillers or botox.
When asked what her latest skincare obsession is, the 35-year-old supermodel raved about gua sha, a procedure that involves scraping a smooth-edged tool across your body to improve wrinkles, relieve muscle soreness, and reap other benefits.
“You don’t need the filler, you just need the Gua Sha,” he said.
“I’ve seen so many girls get it so wrong and I feel like I have the best teacher in the entire world,” Graham shared with Sandra Lanshin Chiu, who also practices acupuncture for the star.
“If you go on Tiktok or Instagram, he shows you exactly how to do it,” Graham continued, “I tell him all the time as if you were my Botox.”
The mother-of-three went on to say that she used one of the gua sha tools to “keep the jawline closed or reduce tension in her neck” and also rub it on her calves to relieve tension from wearing high heels.
Plus, fans were frightened in 2021 when the model showed a large piece of bruising on her back from a particularly deep gua sha session.

Graham, who recently showcased her slimmer physique at Cannes, said that one of her other beauty obsessions alongside Chinese medicine is a TikTok trick involving Dial liquid hand soap ($8).
“I’m obsessed with washing my face with Dial hand soap,” she explained. “I saw this girl with perfect skin on TikTok using this, so I did it and didn’t go back. It gets everything very clean. It’s insane, like it’s literally taking everything off your skin.”
Naturally, who often shows off her unfiltered body, including stretch marks, St. Tropez ambassador said she uses several of the brand’s products, including Tan Tonic Glow Drops ($42).
However, one of the most used skincare products is the humble bottle of Aquaphor ($9).
“One time all I had was one of those little tubes and I was going to a red carpet and I used that whole tube on my legs because they were dry and crusty and it worked,” the runway star said. “Brilliant queen!”
