Armie Hammer and Elizabeth Chambers settled their divorce three years after they broke up, Page Six can privately reveal.
The “Call Me By Your Name” star submitted her final disclosure statement on June 14, which means the two are preparing to settle down, but sources tell us that the Hammer and Bird Bakery founder has actually already closed the door to their marriage.
Lawyers and representatives of the newly divorced did not immediately respond to Page Six’s requests for comment.
Chambers filed for dissolution on July 10, 2020, after ten years of marriage, citing “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for the split.
However, the “differences” would soon become apparent as allegations of sexual harassment – and cannibalism – eventually leveled against Hammer.
A woman named Effie came forward and claimed that the 36-year-old “Rebecca” actor violently raped her during their relationship, which led to an investigation by the Los Angeles Police Department.
Ultimately, the District Attorney refused to prosecute after finding “insufficient evidence” to charge Hammer with a crime.
Hammer vehemently denied all allegations against him, first in his attorney’s statements and then in an interview describing everything he did with Air Mail earlier this year.
“This alleged rape was a scene that was her idea,” she said, and claimed that their relationship began after Effie sent him a message via Facebook in October 2016.

“He planned out all the details, from which Starbucks I would see him to, how I would follow him home, how his front door would open and unlock, and I would get in. The CNC called the ‘consensual non-consensual scene’.”
Hammer’s attorney also previously told Page Six that his client’s “all interactions [Effie] – and all other sexual partners for that matter – purely consensual, previously discussed and agreed upon, and mutually participatory.
Before filing for divorce, Chambers, 40, took her and Hammer’s two children, Harper (8) and Ford (6), to the Cayman Islands when the COVID-19 pandemic broke out and has lived there ever since.
The Golden Globe nominee eventually returned to her island, where she was seen selling timeshare, even though she appeared to have moved back to Los Angeles after going through a long-term treatment program.
Hammer told Air Mail that he spends his time working as a sober friend to help others struggling with addiction issues.
“I’m going to move in with him and live with him, give him a healthy routine, get him on a good work schedule. [recovery] Have meetings, take him to the gym, cook healthy meals for him,” she said.
“It feels like my recovery has taken a turn from being the person who needs help to stay sober to being able to help others. Twelve steps in action.”
