Ariana Grande still has fond memories of her late ex-girlfriend Mac Miller and their first collaboration together.
The pop star commented “I love you” to a fan page’s Instagram post on Saturday celebrating the 10th anniversary of the former couple’s song “The Way”.
Grande also shared the post on her Instagram Story with the same message.
Fans took to the comments section to remember the piece, which was first aired on March 25, 2013.

Grande and Miller, 29, dated for nearly two years before breaking up in May 2018. Four months later, the “Self Care” rapper died of an accidental overdose. She was 26 years old.
A week after Miller’s tragic death, Grande paid an emotional tribute to her ex on Instagram.
“I’ve adored you since the day I met you when I was nineteen, and I will always love you. I can’t believe you’re not here anymore,” she captioned a video on September 14, 2018, showing the deceased musician telling her a story while she was both laughing and smiling.
Grande then apparently addressed Miller’s struggles with substance abuse.
“I really can’t wrap my head around it. We talked about it,” he added, “many times. I am very angry, very sad, I don’t know what to do. You were my best friend for this long. above all.”
The two-time Grammy-winning actress concluded her eulogy by writing that she was “very sorry” and unable to ease Miller’s pain.
