Alec Baldwin is on his feet again after undergoing hip replacement surgery less than two weeks ago.
However, the 65-year-old “30 Rock” alum was spotted on Friday needing the help of a cane to walk the concrete streets of New York City.
Paparazzi caught Baldwin out for a walk in a big gray shirt, black tank top, trousers and dress shoes.
He paired his suit with a metal forearm crutch that kept him from losing his balance.
Baldwin’s wife, Hilaria Baldwin, announced on Instagram on May 30 that the “Paris Can Wait” star had surgery.
“Alec got a new hip today…it took a long time,” the 39-year-old yoga instructor wrote in a selfie of him and Alec taken from their hospital bed.
“We’ve been through so much together… as your partner and as you recover, I want you to leave this very intense period of chronic pain behind and improve your quality of life.”
He thanked the medical professionals who took care of his wife and concluded: “Dr Davidovitch, Dr Miller, Dr Golden, Dr. I am grateful to Furgiuele, the nurses, pt, weed, staff and other wonderful people who generously brought him through safely.”
Alec later posted in the comments section, “And you. Thanks to you..”
On Friday’s outing, the “It’s Complicated” star previously gave fans a health update on Instagram, though this is the first time she’s been seen in public since her procedure.
“The pain is slowly fading away… but it’s painful,” Alec admitted in a video he posted on June 4. “It’s incredibly painful.”
The father of eight said the surgery should have been done “at least two years ago” and has been “limping around” the whole time.
“I’ve done myself no favors,” he added, noting that he had done “compensatory damage” to other parts of his body, including his back, neck and knees. “It was tough to limp for two years with this situation.”
Alec previously had hip replacement surgery for his left hip in 2018.

However, in his last video, he explained that the reason for the delay in his right hip was “not having time” to have the surgery due to his busy work schedule.
“I didn’t have four to six weeks to limit myself like that,” said the “Saturday Night Live” actor.
For over a year, Alec has been in a legal battle over the fatal shooting of director of photography Halyna Hutchins on the set of the upcoming Western movie Rust.
The movie star stubbornly refused to pull the trigger of the gun and pleaded not guilty after being formally charged with manslaughter.
In April, however, the charges were dropped, and filming resumed shortly thereafter.
