In January, Renner was flown to the hospital after a snowplow ran over one of his legs while he and his nephew were trying to pull a tractor out of the driveway into the street.
During the bloody accident, the Marvel star suffered blunt chest trauma, orthopedic injuries, and had multiple surgeries due to more than 30 broken bones.
Earlier this week, Renner met with Diane Sawyer to talk about her horrific accident.
“I was awake all the time,” the “Avengers: Endgame” star recalled in an ABC News interview on Thursday. “Exactly as you imagine it will feel. … I was on asphalt and on ice – I wish I was on snow.
Renner added that he felt like “someone took the wind from him” when the snowplow began to crush him.
“There’s too much going on in the body that can’t be felt… pain is everything,” said the “Bourne Identity” star. “As your soul may suffer.”
Despite his injuries, Renner has made tremendous strides in his recovery. Two months after the accident, he shared a photo of himself exercising on a stationary bike.
