Courtney Love pays homage to her late husband, Kurt Cobain, 29 years after his tragic death.
Calling the ’90s rock legend his “twin flame,” 58-year-old Love shared a close-up black and white photo of the Nirvana frontman’s hands on Instagram Thursday, a day after the anniversary of Cobain’s death on April 5.
The photo, taken by REM musician Michael Stipe, was praised by Love as a “powerful photograph” of his “twin flame”.
“It’s one of the only images (or sounds/tastes, etc.) that makes me miss it deeply,” she wrote. “But he sang with me and often and was really impressed with our Buddhist practice.
I know he is in an enlightened place, more so than we are here in mappo.”
Sharing her 30-year-old daughter, Frances, with the late rocker, Love concluded her eulogy by writing “We love & miss you & you”.
The daughter of the musical couple also shared an Instagram story, which is no longer expired, in memory of her father.

“‘Life is like a wave crashing against the shore, and death is like a wave returning to the ocean, in its most natural state,'” he wrote.
“Free from pain or human anxiety,” the visual artist added. “Death serves a purpose. That’s what makes life so precious, just as pain has a purpose because without it we wouldn’t know joy.”
Frances concluded her post by encouraging her followers to “hold” their loved ones “a little tighter and a little closer to me today.”
According to The Post, Love and Cobain started dating in 1991 and were married the following year on a beach in Hawaii.
Said to have suffered from mental illness and addiction, Cobain died two years later from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
