Tom Cruise has stopped sending Brooke Shields a cake every Christmas, but he doesn’t know “what happened.”
The actress told People on Tuesday that she “has been on the list for a while” and that she “had a good 10 years of running” by receiving the $126 cake that Cruise sent her famous friends for the holidays.
“I used to buy coconut cake every year and I was very happy. [about]said.
Shields, 57, laughed at the 60-year-old actor, removing his ex-wife Katie Holmes and their daughter Suri from the Christmas card.
“It was from them and Suri. [at first], so there were three of them, and soon there was no Suri, no Katie, and there was only Tom,” she explained. “Then for a while it just went from Tom, but not every holiday. Then the cake stopped.”
The model explained that the change had occurred in recent years and had nothing to do with it and Cruise’s past feud over postpartum depression drugs.
The Oscar nominee infamously called Shields “irresponsible” in 2005 and responded to his “ridiculous rant”.
However, the duo walked away from the scandal and remained friends.
Not only was the “Suddenly Susan” graduate invited to Cruise and Holmes’ “extraordinary” wedding in 2006, but her eldest daughter, Rowan, threw a joint 1st birthday party with Suri the following year.

Holmes and Cruise, 44, divorced in 2012 and are no longer in a relationship with their 16-year-old daughter, the “Top Gun: Maverick” star told Page Six last month.
An insider noted that Cruise had not seen Suri in a very long time.
As for Holmes, he told Variety last month how “wild” it was to be at the age when he was almost at the age when he started filming “Dawson’s Creek.”
The mother-daughter couple “had a good laugh” about the six-season WB show during the COVID-19 pandemic.
