Elvis Presley’s ex-girlfriend, Linda Thompson, pulled out old photos of the late Lisa Marie Presley while contemplating their “wonderful relationship.”
“She’s still a part of my heart,” the socialite wrote in a lengthy memorial message on Instagram Wednesday, along with a few photos from the late singer’s childhood.
Dating Elvis from 1972 to 1976, Thompson was doing spring cleaning when young Lisa Marie discovered an old photo album with her Polaroids.
“Time stopped for a few moments while looking at these precious photos,” the 72-year-old actress wrote. “Little ‘Yisa Marisa’ I remember her very fondly.”
Thompson explained that Lisa Marie is only six years old and that she is missing her two front teeth in old photos.
“She asked me to take some pictures of her in my dressing area at the Mononovale house,” the former pageant queen recalled.
Thompson then went on to talk about the similarities between Lisa Marie and Riley Keough, the eldest daughter of the “So Lovely” singer who starred in Amazon Prime’s “Daisy Jones & The Six.”
“I don’t know how many of you watched it – or watched it repeatedly as I did… but if you haven’t, you should! Fantastic!!” Thompson said. “There are many nuances in Riley’s facial expressions that remind me of her beautiful mother.”
“Lisa’s lovely, majestic, powerful presence lives on in her gorgeous and talented daughter.💜👏🙏🏻🌹.”
Lisa Marie shared her 33-year-old daughter Riley and her late son Benjamin, who died by suicide at the age of 27 in July 2020, with her ex-husband Danny Keough.
She also shared 14-year-old twins Finley and Harper with another ex-husband, Michael Lockwood. Alongside Danny and Lockwood, Lisa Marie was once married to Nicholas Cage from 2002 to 2004 and Michael Jackson from 1994 to 1996.

Thompson’s walk down memory lane comes nearly three months after Lisa Marie’s sudden death on January 12.
The “Lights Out” artist died at the age of 54 after suffering a heart attack. Page Six previously reported that Lisa Marie had written code multiple times before she fell into a medical coma and subsequently passed away.
He was buried at Graceland, the same resting place as his son and father.
Thompson was “absolutely devastated and shocked” by Lisa Marie’s death and spoke to honor her memory the day after her death.
“Lisa Marie looked so much like her father that it was uncanny,” Thompson told People at the time.
“[Lisa Marie] He had deep, soulful eyes, a sullen lip, and a muffled, irreverent sense of humor. It was a beautiful contradiction like Elvis… complex in its simplicity.”
He also remembered that Lisa Marie was the first person he called after Elvis died in 1977 when the “Hound Dog” singer was 42 and his daughter was just 9 years old.
“I will always be deeply grateful to Lisa Marie, a 9-year-old girl who used her mind to call me from Graceland and tell me the news that fateful day her father died,” Thompson said. “I was the first person he called. To me that said volumes about how close we were and how sure he was of my love for his father.”
Elvis began dating Thompson shortly after King of Rock ‘n’ Roll broke up with Lisa Marie’s mother, Priscilla Presley. They only dated for four years before canceling things, but Thompson remained close with Lisa Marie.
Thompson later married Caitlyn Jenner in 1981, but they divorced in 1986. He and Olympian have two sons: Brandon and Brody. Thompson was also married to David Foster from 1991 to 2005.
