Mark Wahlberg ponders his future in Hollywood.
In a recent video interview Cigar EnthusiastOscar-nominated actor Marvin R. Shaken said: “I don’t think I’ll be acting that long at my current pace.”
In a conversation that spanned his decades of work as a movie star and producer, Wahlberg, 52, called acting “the hardest thing.”
“I’m definitely working more than ever right now. “In a sense, you establish, transfer or exit some businesses,” he said.
His children, Ella (20), Michael (17), Brendan (14) and Grace (13), whom he shares with his wife Rhea Durham (44). boogie nights Star added, “we’ll see what their interests are.”

“I started producing out of necessity,” he said. He added that he would prefer to step back from his acting work and be “behind the wheel” on film and TV projects. “You’re going 100 miles per hour on the highway, do you want to be in the backseat without a seat belt, or do you want to be behind the wheel?”

Wahlberg founded the scripted production company Closest to the Hole in 2004. Unrealistic Ideas, a production company for unscripted works, produced the Emmy-nominated documentary series. McMillion$.

He added that his age is on his mind these days. “I’m not ignoring the fact that I’m definitely halfway there… these are definitely things I’m thinking about.”
