Beyoncé and JAY-Z make the most of the summer.
During a break from the Renaissance World Tour on Sunday, the 41-year-old artist and 53-year-old rapper were spotted laughing and spending some free time with friends during a two-day trip to Italy’s Lake Como.
While their getaway was brief, the long-married couple, who have been married since April 2008, filled their trips with activities, including a relaxing dinner with friends, where the group chatted together and admired the lake.
The founder of Roc Nation has also been spotted spending some time at the luxury resort, shooting hoops and exploring the lake on a boat with his friend Jack Dorsey.
The tour is scheduled to conclude in New Orleans on September 27, while the singer will perform in Poland on Tuesday before embarking on the North American leg of the tour on July 8. The setlist includes performances of songs from her seventh studio album. Renaissance.
While announcing the album will be released in 2022, the Grammy winner shared that the music was developed as an “escape from a terrible time for the world.”
Alongside the album’s cover art on Instagram, she wrote, “Creating this album gave me a place to dream and find escape in a terrible time for the world. It made me feel free and adventurous at a time when little else was moving.” .
“My intention was to create a safe, judgment-free place,” he continued. “A place where you can be free from perfectionism and overthinking. A place to scream, to let go, to feel freedom. It was a beautiful journey of discovery. I hope you find joy in this music. I hope it inspires you to stop fidgeting. Ha! And to feel as unique, powerful and sexy as you are. ”

“With all the isolation and injustice over the past year, I think we’re all ready to escape, travel, love and laugh again,” she told the broadcast. “I feel a renaissance is emerging and I want to be a part of nurturing that escape in any way possible.”

“I’ve been in the studio for a year and a half,” he continued. “It sometimes takes me a year to personally search through thousands of voices to find the right beat or trap. A choir can have up to 200 overlapping harmonies. I feel it in the recording studio.”
