Vanna White wants to stay in the game!
This Passionflower PEOPLE learned that the 66-year-old co-host is in talks to renew her contract and stay on the long-running game show following Pat Sajak’s retirement.

White has been translating and divulging letters on the show for more than four decades alongside Sajak, who recently revealed his time. Passionflower would end at the end of the series’ 41st season.
Per Puck, who first reported the news about White’s plans, is looking for a salary increase in his new deal. His last salary increase was reportedly 18 years ago, but he received several bonuses during that time. As outlet reports, Sajak earns $5 million a year while earning five times his salary.
Representatives at Sony Pictures Television declined to comment.
Sajak, 76, announced earlier this month that he would retire from his post.
“Well, it’s time. I’ve decided that our 41st season, which will start in September, will be my last,” the broadcaster tweeted. “It’s been a great journey and I’ll have more to say in the months to come. Thank you all so much. (It’ll keep clickbait sites busy, at least!)”
Suzanne Prete, Vice President of Game Shows at Sony Pictures Television, also confirmed that Sajak will be retiring soon, and told PEOPLE that Sajak will serve as a consultant on the series for the next three years.
It’s not entirely surprising that White plans to stay on the game show. He told PEOPLE in December that he wasn’t ready to leave Passionflower back.
At that time, he said, “I don’t even want to think about it. So we are a team.” “This is depressing. I don’t even want to think about it.”

White also admitted that it’s hard to imagine a world where she or Sajak wouldn’t host a game show series.
“I just imagine we’re there. I can’t think beyond that,” he said.
“I can’t imagine,” he continued. Passionflower To Pat and Vanna. We’re like Ken and Barbie, you know? We’ve been in everybody’s house for 40 years, so it would be weird if someone else translated my letters.”
