Kesha and Dr. Luke finally ended his court battles.
The 36-year-old “Die Young” singer and 49-year-old music producer announced in a joint statement on Thursday that they have resolved the defamation lawsuit against him.
“As I always say, only God knows what happened that night,” Kesha said. “I can’t explain everything that happened.”
The pop star explained that she was “looking forward to closing the door on this chapter of my life and starting a new chapter”.

Dr. Luke, on the other hand, defended his innocence in his deposition.

“I’ve never drugged or assaulted him, and I would never do that to anyone. For the sake of my family, I’ve fought fiercely to clear my name for nearly 10 years.”
Dr. Luke concluded by saying, “It’s time for me to put this difficult issue behind me and move on with my life. Best wishes to Kesha.”
Reconciliation comes just weeks before the case is scheduled to go to court.
In 2014, Kesha filed a lawsuit accusing the songwriter of drugging and raping her after a party in 2005.
