Bruce Willis’ fans are celebrating this Father’s Day on social media.
The “Die Hard” star’s ex-wife Demi Moore and current wife Emma Heming paid tribute to the actor, who was diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia, on Instagram on Sunday.
“I am eternally grateful to you for giving me these three beautiful girls,” Moore wrote next to a cute black and white photo of Willis making silly faces with his daughters, 60-year-old Moore.
“We love our #girldad. Happy Father’s Day!”
The “Ghost” actress was married to the “Sixth Sense” star from 1987 to 2000. Rumer, 34, share Scout, 31, and Tallulah, 29.
The friendly exes have recently become grandparents when their eldest and partner, Derek Richard Thomas, gave birth to a daughter named Louetta in April.
Apart from Moore, Willis’ wife also penned a sweet message online.
“Father’s Day is a time when I reflect my deep appreciation and respect for Bruce and watch the father of our young children,” wrote Heming, 45, next to a photo of her husband and 11-year-old eldest daughter Mabel together. .
“While it may not be ‘traditional,’ what it teaches will last for generations. Unconditional love, kindness, strength, compassion, patience, generosity, endurance.”

Willis and Heming have been married since 2009. They also share a 9-year-old little girl named Evelyn.
The mixed family is going through a tough time – although they all get along well.
In March 2022, Willis’ relatives announced in a joint statement that the beloved entertainer would retire from acting after being diagnosed with aphasia.
“We wanted to share with Bruce’s incredible supporters as a family that our beloved Bruce is suffering from some health issues and was recently diagnosed with aphasia affecting his cognitive abilities,” they wrote at the time.
“This is a truly challenging time for our family and we are so grateful for your continued love, compassion and support.”
The family said, “We’re going through this process as a strong family unit and we wanted to bring in his fans because we know how much he means to you as well as what you mean to him. As Bruce always says, ‘Live’ and do just that together. We are planning.”
Almost a year later, the family shared an update revealing that the “Armageddon” star had indeed been diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia.
“While this is painful, it’s a relief to finally have a clear diagnosis,” they said on the Frontotemporal Degeneration Society website in February.
Since then, Heming has been open about the difficulties surrounding Willis’ gradual mental decline.
On their most recent wedding anniversary, the former model said, “While ours usually accepts, their now-shifted brains can’t. Here is what it is.”
