Dionne Warwick canceled her show in Illinois next weekend for medical reasons.
An email received by TMZ on Thursday from the venue read, “We regret to inform you that the Dionne Warwick performance at Rivers Casino Des Plaines on June 24, 2023 has been canceled due to a medical incident.”
“All ticket purchases will receive a full refund, thank you for your understanding,” Rivers Casino Des Plaines continued. “We look forward to seeing you at another event in the future.”
The casino did not disclose what the “medical incident” was, but the outlet reported that the “Friends For This” singer began having trouble with one of her legs.
However, they reported that Warwick was “already recovering.”
Page Six reached out to Warwick’s representative but did not receive an immediate response.
Fans began sending well wishes to the “Heartbreaker” singer on Twitter after news of the health issue broke out.
One fan wrote, “Prayers for Aunt Everyone’s @dionnewarwick We all hope you feel better soon #SayALittlePrayerForYou 🙏🏻 #DionneWarwick 🫶🏻”.
“I hope you feel better soon! @dionnewarwick,” he added.
Third, he tweeted, “I’m sending love and healing vibrations to @dionnewarwick.”

Warwick was also featured on June 22 in Bridgeport, Conn., June 23 in Bensalem, Pa., August 9 in Selbyville, Del., August 11 in Gethsemane, Ky., September 1 in Ojai, California and September. They also have concerts planned. 2 in Beverly Hills, California.
There’s no word on whether these other shows will go ahead as planned.
Earlier this year, Warwick revealed that he and Dolly Parton are working on a gospel son together.
“He sent me another song that we’re going to do as a duet,” the “Walk On By” singer said as she attended the “Tamron Hall Show” in January.
“[It’s] A gospel song called ‘Peace Like a River’… I’m so excited about it. I really. I’ve done a lot of duets over the years, but this one is going to be very special.”
