Nicki Minaj was reportedly the victim of a “crush” attack this week after an unidentified person falsely told police that her 2-year-old son was being abused.
The prankster contacted children’s services, which led to the Los Angeles Police Department sheriff’s deputies appearing at Minaj’s California mansion, a law enforcement source told TMZ on Sunday.
The “Super Crazy Girl” hit producer, who shared her baby boy with husband Kenneth Petty, spoke to officers at her home.
After examining the toddler, whose name has not yet been made public, they determined that there were no signs of abuse.
However, a few hours later, another person called 911 to report that a fire had broken out in Minaj’s home.
It soon became clear that the rapper was “crushed” and fake phone calls were not real.
The 40-year-old “Super Bass” rapper has also reportedly taken legal action against those involved.
Page Six reached out to Minaj’s representatives but did not receive an immediate response.
