Steven Tyler was photographed hugging his daughter Mia and granddaughter Axton during a rare photo shoot.
Instantly, the 75-year-old Aerosmith frontman was pictured with one arm wrapped around her 44-year-old daughter, who was standing behind her 6-year-old son.
Wearing a homemade party hat, Axton flashed a cheeky smile for the camera as he grabbed his mother’s arm.
The image was originally shared by a family friend and the tag “family love” was added to the photo.
While it’s unclear where the family reunion took place, the rocker was dressed for the event, wearing a pair of jeans, a floral jacket, and sneakers.
Meanwhile, Mia, who reposted the photo on her Instagram Story, wore a pair of black tights, a cheetah-print top, and a black jacket.
The “Sweet Emotion” singer is also the father of daughters Liv, 45, and Chelsea, 34, and son Taj, 32.
In addition to Axton, whom Mia shares with ex Dan Halen, the legendary rocker has four other grandchildren: Vincent Frank, 3, Lula Rose, 6, Sailor Gene, 8, and Milo William, 18.
Although Steven rarely gives insight into his personal life, he told People that he is simply “Daddy Stevie” to his grandchildren – not a world-famous rock star.
“The really young ones like Mia’s son Ax don’t know me yet,” she said in 2018. “When they get a little older and get to know me, see me on TV and I think things will change.”

“It’s so surprising when this happens,” he continued. “Because they’ve seen the ‘Janie Has a Gun’ video or ‘Dude (Looks Like a Lady)’ or ‘Sweet Emotion’ video, they start looking at me differently.”
However, the former “American Idol” judge acknowledged that it can be difficult for the family to coordinate their “busy” schedules.
“Liv is in England – last year I went with the whole family and saw her. It’s just a little difficult,” she said. “We’re trying to get together for Christmas, and it’s fun, it’s good. What we have is beautiful.”
