According to Page Six of sources, Natalie Portman and ballerina husband Benjamin Millepied are struggling to save their marriage after learning that he was having an affair with a 25-year-old woman.
It was said that the couple, who got married in 2012, broke up last year, but managed to overcome their relationship difficulties.
Now their marriage has been shaken once again by the revelation that he cheated. New photos from France show the former New York City Ballet principal dancer spending time with glamorous young climate activist Camille Étienne.
And a source close to the couple told Page Six, “They haven’t broken up and are trying to make things right. Ben is doing everything he can to get Natalie to forgive him. He loves him and his family.”
“He is incredibly special,” the source added. “Currently her biggest focus is protecting children.”
We heard that it’s a well-known secret that Portman had a problem with Millepied on the set of his new movie “May December,” which was shot over 23 days in November.
And at the premiere at the Cannes Film Festival this month, the couple was said to be still on thin ice. Portman, 41, was doing promotional tours in the French Riviera city, but Millepied, 45, was nowhere to be found.
A source close to the couple insisted they were still an item at the time. Meanwhile, Portman and Millepied were spotted just after the film festival at a Beyoncé concert in Paris on May 26. There were more photos showing them kissing while having dinner in the French city on May 29.
Then a new article in the French magazine Voici on Friday claimed that Millepied was spending time with Étienne.
“In early March, the star of the ‘Star Wars’ saga discovered that her husband was having an affair with a young woman,” the magazine claimed.
Mag published footage of Millepied and Étienne entering his office separately on May 24 and leaving about two hours later, ten minutes apart.
A friend of eco superstar Greta Thunberg, Etienne has made a series of short films on the environment and authored “For an Ecological Uprising: To Overcome Our Collective Weakness.” She was also reportedly named one of the “50 French women who made 2020” by the French Vanity Fair.
Portman and Millepied met on the set of the Oscar-winning ballet film Black Swan, which he choreographed in 2009. He was in a long-term relationship with fellow dancer Isabella Boylston. They got engaged in 2010 and married in Big Sur, California in 2012.
Portman was pregnant with their first child when she received the Best Actress award for the film in 2011, pointing to “my beautiful love Benjamin Millepied, who choreographed the film and now gives me the most important role of my life.” stomach
The couple shares 12-year-old Aleph and 6-year-old Amalia.
In addition to “Black Swan,” they also collaborated on Portman’s 2018 film “Vox Lux.”
In August 2022, they celebrated their tenth anniversary by sending each other Instagram messages.
“It just keeps getting better,” Portman wrote.
The Portman and Millepied representative declined to comment. Étienne did not respond to our request for comment.
