Kate Hudson is working on her tan this summer.
The 44-year-old spent Memorial Day Weekend lounging by the pool with her kids and undressing.
On Instagram, a carousel wrote, “Sun is out, donuts (and huns) ☺️☀️ #summerready”.
In one photo, the “Almost Famous” actress wearing a red ombré bikini bottom and a wide-brimmed hat buried her face in a book while standing by the pool.
Hudson has strategically used the novel and a blue heart emoji to cover her bare chest as she pulls off the summer rays without having to worry about her tan line.
In another photo, the actress showed her backside in full view as she slid into the water with nearly non-existent bottoms.
Some fans called Hudson’s decision to go topless around his kids as “weird”, while others praised him for embracing his body.
“I had a child around the same time as you and don’t look at it like that 🙌 shake that money!!!” One of her 17 million followers left a comment.
“You got it… show off!” another added, and the third said, “Are you kidding me? I’ve been in love with you for over 20 years and you’re getting more beautiful every year!
In response to her sister Oliver Hudson, who urged the actress not to share such underdressed snaps, Kate warned there’s more in store this summer.
“The summers are just getting started, Oliver… it’s going to get wild,” he replied. “You should stop following.”
While Hudson is clearly comfortable banning everything online, the same cannot be said for the big screen.

Last year, the actress revealed she was afraid of the iconic bikini scene in “Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery.”
In fact, Hudson made some major dietary changes prior to filming and cut down on all alcohol before undressing for the camera.
“While everyone was drinking Aperol Spritzes in Greece, I was waiting for that scene to be filmed so I could join everyone else,” he told “This Morning” audiences in December 2022.
“Everyone was having a great time,” Hudson continued. “I was like, ‘I’m going to get that cucumber and feta cheese’.”
