What should a man do to get this deleted from the internet?
Nick Jonas recently revealed at the 2016 Academy of Country Music Awards that his infamous duet with Kelsea Ballerin was so “traumatic” that he sent her to therapy.
But Kelly Clarkson once said, “What doesn’t kill you makes you stronger,” so let’s relive the viral moment.
At the time, the youngest Jonas Brothers member in the buzz-cut, leather jacket era had joined the country star on stage for a rendition of the 2015 song “Peter Pan.”
“I’m going out for my job. I’ve rehearsed a million times. I’m really confident about it, not even thinking about it as something that would be really problematic,” 30-year-old Jonas said on Monday’s episode of the “Armchair Expert with Dax Shepard” podcast.
“I started; it was fine,” he continued, “and as I walked towards him, I was completely ejaculated and struck a wrong note and fainted.”
The Grammy winner said he “gets it wrong” but “couldn’t stop”, so he continued to play indifferently for 12 very long and admittedly “tragic” seconds.
After the incident, the “Sucker” hit producer chose to make fun of himself and laugh with fans online, admitting that he “destroyed the solo thanks to a massive brain fart”.

But behind the scenes, what felt like the “worst moment” of his career embarrassed him.
“I was rushed into a car and then put on a plane,” the musician told the 48-year-old presenter Shepard. “And I looked at my manager and said, ‘I think that was bad.
Jonas complained that the event “shaped the pressure I put on myself to be great and always keep going”.
“Looking back, I can laugh a little at how big I thought it was,” the singer added. “But it’s traveled more than I wished it had, and got me going to therapy.”
Apparently the performance wasn’t all that hurtful for Ballerina, who went on to join the Jonas Brothers’ “Remember This Tour” five years later.
