Kim Kardashian reflects on her relationship with Kanye West.
The SKIMS founder candidly shared that he was “in a very good place” when he appeared in the series’ final episode. Purpose with Jay Shetty As she shares her podcast on Monday, she shares that the people in her life right now are “really solid.”
“One thing I’ve learned is that you can’t help people who don’t want help,” Kardashian said. “You can’t force your beliefs and project that onto someone who thinks of something completely different.”

While Kardashian didn’t specifically name West, she spoke more about having conflicting views with people in her life before.
“It’s okay to have these different views. That’s why the world turns,” he shared. “But if you don’t conform to the same values, morals, and things at the core, then it’s okay to understand that this life is too short, and you have to go find people who are aligned with what you truly believe in.”
“These are some of the things I will teach my kids as they look for friends, partners, and relationships,” he continued. “You can’t really force things on other people. You can’t expect them to be where you are, at your level.”
Kardashian said that sometimes the differences “can coexist really well, but sometimes they really can’t.”
“Sometimes I feel like people think it’s a failure if a relationship doesn’t work out, but I don’t really look at it like 15 years, 10 years. It’s not a failure. It’s beautiful.” she loved it.
The former couple started dating in 2012, married in 2014, and filed for divorce in 2021 after having four children together (North West, 9, Saint West, 7, Chicago West, 5, and Psalm West, 4).

The ex-lovers’ divorce was finalized in November after an agreement was reached on child custody and ownership.
According to divorce documents previously obtained by PEOPLE, the former couple agreed to share joint physical and legal custody of their four children and waived spousal support.
