It came raining.
Taylor Swift put on an unforgettable show for her fans by performing her “3.5-hour” set in the midst of torrential rain in Foxborough, Mass.
The 33-year-old “Cruel Summer” singer played one of her first “rain shows” at Gillette Stadium in 2011, and the skies opened up again when she returned to the venue on Saturday.
“We danced together in the rain for an ALL 3.5 HOUR SHOW at foxy Foxborough MA last night!” Swift captioned a series of photos on Instagram showing her completely drenched on stage.
“We’ve had rain shows at Gillette Stadium before but this has been a never-ending flood, I just want to thank that iconic crowd!! I love you so much you have no idea,” he added.
Thousands of fans also documented the evening by taking to TikTok to share clips from performances of more than 40 songs.
“These microphones are working overtime in that rain” commented on a clip of Swift singing “Karma”, while another wrote, “I know electricians have to be stressed out.”
One fan pondered how the Grammy winner didn’t “freeze”, while another questioned her ability to make quick costume changes behind the scenes.
“Imagine trying to change clothes in all this rain and how heavy your clothes are, it’s so hard!🙈😅” they wrote.
Several other fans also praised the behind-the-scenes team, while noting how “happy” Swift looks despite her recent breakup from her boyfriend of six years, Joe Alwyn.
“Support the make-up team! still looks flawless! while one fan commented, another interrupted, “I need to know what they’re putting on the shoes to make them so non-slip lol.”
This isn’t the first time the “Love Story” singer has experienced extreme weather conditions on the US leg of her Eras Tour: The third Nashville show was delayed by several hours earlier this month as thunder and lightning struck.
Still, Swift finally performed in the pouring rain.

“It’s something we all do together. It’s kind of like a bonding experience. We’re all going to leave here tonight like we’ve been through five car washes,” he told fans in the crowd at the time.
“People are like, ‘Where have you been? A few wars?’ You’re like, ‘No, I just went on the Eras Tour. This is good.'”
On her first night at Gillette Stadium last Friday, the “Anti-Hero” singer revealed she had “never been this happy” amid her new crush with 1975 frontman Matty Healy.
“I feel like telling you… I’ve never been happier in my life, in every aspect of my life,” she told concertgoers.
“And I want to thank you for being a part of it. Not just the tour. I finally feel like my life has meaning.
Swift continued and told the crowd, “I thought about playing this song that brought me so many happy memories,” and then “Question…?”
Healy, 34, was seen sneaking into Swift’s New York City apartment a few nights ago, although there was no sign of any of his shows last weekend.
The two first sparked their love rumors, when the “Happiness” singer attended all of the superstar’s shows in Nashville and Philadelphia. He was even seen performing in a private box with Swift’s father, Scott.
