Register it for a good cleaning.
Despite the fact that fans believe that Johnny Depp’s teeth “rotten” inside his mouth, famous dentist Dr. Apa tells Page Six that it’s simply a case of “aggressive” wear and tear.
“There is wear, which is a cumulative effect over a lifetime,” Apa explains.
“Wear it like that, sometimes we see it in really aggressive cases in 30-year-olds, and sometimes we see it in cases like Depp,” says the 59-year-old actress.
Behind the smiles of Ramona Singer, Kendall Jenner, Simon Cowell, and many more celebrities, Apa believes Depp’s passion for espresso and cigarillos is probably responsible for the ‘stained’ chocolates he says haven’t been cleaned in years.
The dental expert advises the “Pirates of the Caribbean” star, whose teeth went viral at the Cannes Film Festival this week, to get a “really good cleaning” to improve her mouth’s optics. Apa recommends porcelain veneers to reverse wear.
“I would veneer because her bite needs to be reestablished,” Apa explains to Page Six. “He’s worn down his teeth too much.”
Apa proposes a “solid yet natural” look for Depp, whose rocker status is becoming as well known as his Hollywood career.
Unfortunately, the “Tourist” actor probably won’t be interested in any extreme dental work, as he once boasted of having “rotten” teeth and “lots of cavities”.

“I have a lot of bruises,” he boasted in a 1995 interview with Premiere magazine.
“I had an unfinished root canal treatment eight years ago,” he continued, describing it as “a rotten little stub” at the time.
The then-31-year-old actor claimed he “liked” her flawed smile.
“It’s like when Indians make something with beads, they always put flaws on it,” he said, adding, “I’m proud of that.”
Depp also criticized those who have a perfect pearly white set and said he would hate to have them.
“When I see people with perfect teeth, it moves me over the wall,” he said. “I’d rather swallow a tick than have it!”
Miraculously, the outlet noted that despite Depp’s passion for wine and cigarettes, his breath remained odorless.
