Machine Gun Kelly is back in the rap game and it looks like it’s coming for Jack Harlow.
The “Bloody Valentine” rocker apparently shadowed his rapper friend in a string for his new “Renegade” freestyle, which dropped Saturday.
“I get why they call you Jackman/You’ve lost all the air on the guy/Give Drake back his flow, man,” the 33-year-old MGK sings, playing Jay-Z and Eminem’s “Renegade”.
“I should eat/vomit rappers like Pac Man and show you who’s been in my stomach since the last dance,” he continues.
Fans on social media noted that the phrase “Jackman” appears to be a direct reference to the name of Harlow’s newly released third studio album, which includes songs like “They Don’t Love It”, “Blame on Me” and “Blame on Me”. Ambitious.”
MGK, who previously released her own version of Harlow’s “What’s Poppin” in 2020, wrote in an Instagram post promoting the freestyle, “I’ve never been afraid to say what’s on my mind at any time of the day 😈🎯”.
“It looks like Ole shot @jackharlow. I thought they were men?” one fan wrote in the comments section and another said, “So I like it but Jack Harlow made it 😂”.
A third interrupted, “Jack harlow is subconsciously taking them in 😂😂😂”.
The song was dropped a few days after the 25-year-old Harlow said he was “the toughest white kid” since Eminem on the second track “Jackman”, “They Don’t Love It.”
Referring to Eminem’s 2002 hit “Lose Yourself,” he sang, “What if you’re trying to be my son / The most dominant ever / The toughest white boy since he rapped about puke and sweaters.”
“And hold the comments/’Because I swear to you I’m really better/Better than anyone you can think of at that moment.”
MGK (real name: Colson Baker) is no stranger to getting under Eminem’s skin. The two had a notorious feud in 2018 when the “8 Mile” star, 50, who had a “weird” beard and “stale hats” on MGK’s track “Rap Devil,” called him the “big bad bully of the rap game.”
Apparently in 2012, the beef flared up when a 22-year-old MGK called Eminem’s then-16-year-old daughter, Hailie Jade, on Twitter, “as hot as fk”.
He later apologized by describing the Power 105.1 radio show “The Breakfast Club”. When he commented, he said Hallie “didn’t know how old she was”.
As for Harlow, he has yet to respond to the MGK’s apparent pickaxe. The “First Class” rapper was busy appearing at the 2023 Kentucky Derby over the weekend.
The Louisville native wore a gray tweed suit to the event, which was attended by stars like Chris Pine, Smokey Robinson, Travis Tritt, Patrick Mahomes, and Macy Gray.
Page Six reached out to Harlow’s representative for comment.
After the tremendous success of Machine Gun Kelly’s “Tickets to My Downfall” and “Mainstream Sellout”, the pop-punk musician has been making waves for a return to his hip-hop roots for a while.
“I’m going to make myself a rap album. No other reason, no point to prove, no chip on my shoulder. If I keep doing things to prove things to people, I’ll make one, I’ll drive myself crazy, and two, I won’t be able to make a good product,” the “Dirt” star said in an interview with Audacy Check In last April.
“I’m going to step where I’m staying [2019’s] ‘Hotel Diablo’ and expand my storytelling as a rapper and find a new and innovative voice for Hip Hop Machine Gun Kelly,” he continued.
