Matt Doyle and Max Clayton put a ring on it!
The actors and Broadway stars are officially engaged, with Doyle, 35, and Clayton, 31, sharing the happy news in a joint Instagram post Monday.
“While traveling in Schoonhoven in the Netherlands, we saw a pair of rings handmade by a local jeweler in town. Shockingly, they both fit perfectly.” gift of jewelry.

Although the couple has been an item for nearly a decade, Doyle told PEOPLE in 2022 that not everything started off as perfectly as engagement photos.

Doyle choked, “I called him and said, ‘Did you do that, Dad?’ I said. He said, ‘Yeah, I did.’ I said, ‘Why didn’t you tell me that?’ And he was like, ‘I didn’t want you to feel like I was trying to prove something.’ And I just cried.”
